The role

Summary

Mural is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Growth Engineering team to build and optimize user acquisition systems. The ideal candidate will drive experimentation, attribution, and user conversion strategies using data-driven approaches across multiple acquisition channels.

What you'll do

Experimentation Infrastructure: Design and build comprehensive experimentation capabilities including A/B testing, feature entitlements, and audience targeting systems
Attribution and Economics: Develop cost and revenue attribution pipelines to provide clear visibility into customer acquisition costs and lifetime value across different channels
Acquisition Channel Optimization: Develop and optimize paid and organic acquisition flows, including landing pages, referral mechanics, and SEO infrastructure
Product Architecture: Collaborate with Product and Design to create conversion-focused product surfaces that serve multiple user personas
Technical Quality Management: Balance development speed with sustainability, strategically managing technical debt and investing in foundational systems

What we look for

Technical

Full Stack Development5+ years of production code experience, with strong proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript and React
Data AnalyticsComfortable working with analytics pipelines and making data-driven decisions
AI IntegrationExperience or eagerness to incorporate AI tools into development workflow

Education

Computer Science or Related FieldBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in software engineering

Experience

Growth EngineeringProven experience in high-iteration product environments with frequent shipping and outcome measurement
