Summary

Notable is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to drive AI-powered healthcare technology solutions, partnering directly with customers to design and implement innovative technical workflows that transform healthcare administrative processes. The ideal candidate will blend technical expertise, customer-centric problem-solving, and a passion for improving healthcare efficiency through cutting-edge AI technologies.

What you'll do

Technical Solution Design: Design scalable AI workflows for clinical and operational use cases, creating professional-grade systems and data-flow diagrams that define interfaces, failure modes, and system integration points.
AI Agent Deployment: Configure and deploy Large Language Model (LLM) powered workflows, applying advanced prompting strategies and building agentic workflows with optimized vector stores.
Security and Compliance Management: Perform technical validation of AI algorithm outputs, ensure HIPAA/SOC 2 compliance, and establish robust security guardrails including audit trails and least-privilege access.
Customer Implementation: Independently manage technical implementation plans, drive prototypes to production, and facilitate transitions to steady-state ownership with Customer Success teams.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the technical voice in customer meetings, translating complex platform capabilities into clear value propositions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Product Innovation: Provide strategic input to cross-functional teams, identifying platform capabilities and helping to expand the company's competitive advantage.

What we look for

Technical

Programming LanguagesAdvanced proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js for backend development and scripting
API IntegrationExpertise with REST and gRPC APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
AI TechnologiesPractical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), including prompting techniques, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and evaluation frameworks

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Industry Experience5+ years in Forward Deployed, Solutions, or Implementation Engineering roles with significant client-facing responsibilities
Healthcare TechnologyPreferred experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, C-CDA) and healthcare workflows
