Summary

Notion is seeking a Software Engineer for its Developer Experience team, focusing on creating and improving tools that enhance engineering productivity. The ideal candidate will be passionate about optimizing developer workflows, improving tooling performance, and creating seamless development experiences that empower Notion's engineering team.

What you'll do

Developer Experience Optimization: Collaborate across engineering teams to deliver industry-leading developer tools and frameworks
Tooling Performance: Research and evaluate new developer tools, keeping up with latest developments in the JavaScript ecosystem
CI/CD Improvement: Enhance GitHub and CI systems to ensure fast and safe code merging, targeting PR pipeline completion within 15 minutes
Environment Management: Take ownership of development environment and toolchain, contributing to innovative projects

Technical

Development ExperienceMinimum 8 years of software development experience
Technology AdaptabilityAbility to learn and adopt new technologies quickly

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, but not mandatory

Experience

Developer ToolingDemonstrated ability to improve developer workflows and productivity
System OptimizationExperience in analyzing and enhancing software development processes
