The role

Summary

Notion is seeking an Enterprise Software Engineer to support their largest customers by developing advanced security features, enterprise integrations, and high-performance infrastructure. The ideal candidate will own critical features that enhance Notion's enterprise capabilities, with a focus on scalability, security, and customer-centric solutions.

What you'll do

Enterprise Security Development: Implement and enhance security features including SIEM, DLP, audit logs, and fine-grained access control systems
Integration Engineering: Develop and maintain integrations with customer personnel systems using IDP/SCIM protocols
Performance Optimization: Scale system performance to effectively serve large enterprise customers with complex infrastructure needs
Customer Collaboration: Provide white-glove service for unique customer requirements and consult with Sales teams on enterprise customer needs

Technical

Data Storage ExpertiseDeep knowledge of at least one data storage technology (databases, caching systems)
Testing SkillsProficiency in thorough integration and unit testing methodologies
Full-Stack CapabilitiesStrong understanding of full-stack software development principles

Education

Computer Science or Related FieldBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience

Experience

Enterprise Software DevelopmentProven experience in developing scalable enterprise solutions
Infrastructure EngineeringBackground in building and maintaining complex software infrastructure
