Summary

Notion is seeking a talented Android Software Engineer to join their Mobile Platform team, focusing on developing high-quality, performant mobile experiences. The ideal candidate will contribute to building scalable mobile infrastructure, improve app performance, and drive developer velocity for Notion's innovative productivity platform.

What you'll do

Mobile Platform Development: Develop services, frameworks, and shared UI components for Notion's Android mobile application
App Performance Optimization: Improve the performance, reliability, and overall polish of the Notion Android app
Developer Infrastructure: Drive developer velocity by enhancing build systems, mobile CI/CD, and release processes

What we look for

Technical

Android DevelopmentStrong expertise in Android mobile application development
KotlinProficiency in Kotlin programming language
Mobile FrameworksExperience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and modern Android development practices

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Mobile EngineeringProven experience in building and maintaining high-quality mobile applications at scale
