Summary

Patreon is seeking an Engineering Manager for its Media Creation team, responsible for leading cross-platform engineering efforts to enhance creator content tools and engagement. The ideal candidate will manage engineers across iOS, Android, web, and backend platforms, driving product innovation and supporting Patreon's mission to fund the creative class.

What you'll do

Team Leadership: Manage engineers across iOS, Android, web, and backend platforms, fostering a high-trust engineering culture
Product Development: Drive development of creator-facing tools like Post Editor, Media Uploader, Content Viewer, and Sharing features
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with design, product management, and go-to-market teams to deliver strategic creator-focused experiences
Innovation Management: Lead iteration on product surfaces to enhance creator engagement and content creation capabilities
Strategic Alignment: Contribute to the team's genre-focused roadmap and support Patreon's mission of funding the creative class

Technical

Cross-Platform EngineeringExperience managing engineering teams across mobile (iOS, Android), web, and backend technologies
Product DevelopmentProven track record of leading consumer-facing product feature development

Education

Computer Science DegreeBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

Experience

Engineering ManagementMinimum 3+ years of engineering management experience in cross-platform team environments
