The role

Summary

Poshmark is seeking a Senior Security Engineer II to strengthen the security posture of their enterprise systems, corporate infrastructure, and IT ecosystem. The ideal candidate will design and implement robust security controls, manage identity and access management, and drive security best practices across the organization's diverse technology landscape.

What you'll do

Enterprise Security Control Design: Design, implement, and maintain enterprise and IT security controls aligned with industry best practices and standards
Systems Hardening: Harden corporate IT systems and SaaS platforms through comprehensive layered security controls
Identity and Access Management: Implement and manage enterprise IAM solutions, including SSO, MFA, privileged access, and access governance
Endpoint Security Management: Strengthen endpoint security posture through EDR, configuration hardening, and continuous monitoring
Security Assessment: Conduct regular security assessments, gap analyses, and risk reviews across enterprise systems and SaaS applications
Security Policy Development: Develop and maintain enterprise security standards, policies, and reference architectures
Incident Response Support: Support incident response and investigation related to enterprise systems, identity compromise, endpoint threats, and insider risks
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Security Operations, IT, and Compliance teams to continuously improve enterprise security posture
Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of proactive and engineering-driven security

What we look for

Technical

Enterprise Security TechnologiesHands-on experience with Okta, CrowdStrike, JAMF, endpoint security platforms, Firewalls, and SSO solutions
Security FrameworksFamiliarity with CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, and Zero Trust frameworks
Security ArchitectureStrong knowledge of network security fundamentals, zero trust principles, and enterprise security architecture

Education

Relevant DegreeBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field preferred

Experience

Professional Experience6+ years of professional experience in Enterprise or IT Security, Security Engineering
IAM and Endpoint SecurityDeep understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), endpoint security, and SaaS security controls
Vulnerability ManagementExperience with vulnerability management and security configuration hardening across enterprise systems
