The role

Summary

Poshmark is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the health, performance, and scalability of their web-scale systems. The ideal candidate will have strong operations expertise, a passion for automation, and the ability to work closely with development teams to design and maintain robust, scalable infrastructure.

What you'll do

System Health: Serve as the primary point of responsibility for the overall health, performance, and capacity of Internet-facing services
Application Knowledge: Develop deep understanding of complex application architectures and infrastructure
Deployment Support: Assist in roll-out and deployment of new product features with rapid iteration
Tool Development: Create tools to improve deployment capabilities and monitoring in large-scale UNIX environments
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to ensure platforms are designed with operational excellence
On-Call Rotation: Participate in 24x7 on-call support to maintain system reliability

Technical

Cloud InfrastructureExtensive experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Education
