Summary

Airwallex is seeking an AI Engineer II to join their new Generative AI team in Singapore, focusing on building end-to-end AI-driven solutions for internal automation and customer support. The role requires 2+ years of backend development experience with AI focus, proficiency in Python and LLMs, and expertise in large-scale distributed systems architecture.

What you'll do

AI Solution Development: Build end-to-end AI solutions to enable business growth and drive internal efficiency across the organization

System Architecture: Design and implement robust API and system architecture for new AI applications and services

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and business stakeholders to bring AI solutions to life

Large-scale System Design: Build efficient, large-scale software systems with focus on distributed, high concurrency, and high availability architecture

Code Quality Management: Write high-quality, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to ensure engineering excellence

Mentoring and Communication: Provide technical mentoring to team members and communicate effectively across different stakeholder groups

Innovation Leadership: Shape underlying architecture and APIs for advanced systems, setting best practices for the expanding AI portfolio
