Summary

Airwallex is seeking an Engineering Lead to drive the development and enhancement of their global regulatory reporting automation platform. The ideal candidate will lead a team in building a sophisticated, scalable system that ensures accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple international jurisdictions using cutting-edge data engineering and AI technologies.

What you'll do

Platform Ownership: Lead the full lifecycle of regulatory reporting platform, from data extraction to submission and audit trail management

Technical Architecture: Design and implement end-to-end regulatory reporting pipeline with robust data transformation, validation, and cloud-based workflow orchestration

Multi-Region Expansion: Collaborate with Compliance and Legal to translate complex regulatory requirements into scalable engineering solutions

AI Integration: Proactively apply AI and agentic tooling to reduce manual effort and improve reporting quality

Team Development: Hire, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team focused on regulatory reporting automation
