Summary

Airwallex, a US$8 billion fintech company, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their Analytics team in San Francisco, partnering closely with Marketing to drive data-driven insights and business outcomes. The role involves developing key marketing reports, conducting deep-dive analyses, and optimizing marketing strategies through statistical modeling and experimentation, requiring 6+ years of experience and expertise in SQL, Python/R, and marketing analytics.

What you'll do

Marketing Performance Analysis: Analyze data to assess performance and ROI of marketing initiatives across digital channels
Dashboard and Report Development: Develop comprehensive dashboards and reports to provide observability for stakeholder decision-making
Marketing KPI Expertise: Serve as subject matter expert for all marketing KPIs and consult on marketing data-related projects
Campaign Performance Partnership: Partner with marketing stakeholders to objectively measure campaign performance and identify actionable insights
Forecasting and Budget Planning: Develop data-driven marketing forecasts and budgets to inform organizational-level strategic planning
Cross-functional Strategy Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to identify improvement opportunities in marketing strategies
Experiment Design and Analysis: Support and analyze experiments to measure impact of ad spend, brand campaigns, and marketing initiatives
Executive Communication: Present analytical results and strategic recommendations to executives and cross-functional teams

Executive CommunicationProven track record of presenting analytical results to executives and influencing strategic decisions
Schema DesignExperience in data warehouse schema design and dimensional data modeling preferred
