Summary

Software Engineer II position at Airwallex's Corporate IT team, focusing on ERP integrations, procurement systems, and AI projects. The role requires 3+ years of experience with JVM-based programming (preferably Kotlin), modern CI/CD practices, and cloud infrastructure. You'll work on internal systems, finance platform integrations, and cutting-edge AI initiatives that drive operational efficiency across the organization.

What you'll do

ERP System Integration: Design and implement integrations between ERP systems, Airwallex products, and internal platforms

Procurement Platform Development: Build and enhance procurement and finance system features to improve operational efficiency

AI Project Development: Work on cutting-edge AI projects within the IT engineering incubator, building systems and platforms for business use

API Design and Implementation: Create robust APIs following best practices for complex integration environments

Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product teams and internal stakeholders to deliver technical solutions

System Architecture: Design scalable systems for internal IT infrastructure and finance operations

Quality Engineering: Ensure high-quality, well-tested solutions through modern engineering practices

Platform Integration: Build integrations to and from the Airwallex Platform for internal business needs

Technical

JVM ProgrammingStrong computer science fundamentals with JVM-based programming experience, preferably Kotlin

CI/CD Practices3+ years experience with modern engineering practices focused on continuous integration and delivery

Systems IntegrationExperience in complex integration environments and system design

API DevelopmentExpertise in API design best practices and RESTful services

Network ProtocolsFamiliarity with HTTP, TCP/IP protocol and REST specifications

Build ToolsMastery of Gradle, Maven or other build automation tools
