Summary

Senior Mobile Engineer (iOS) specializing in payment infrastructure at Airwallex, a unicorn fintech platform serving 200,000+ businesses globally. Lead the design and implementation of enterprise iOS applications, spearhead 3D Secure authentication integration, and own full-cycle product development for the Airwallex Mobile App serving customers across 26 offices worldwide. What you'll do

Design and Implement Enterprise iOS Solutions: Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade iOS applications and reusable libraries that power the Airwallex Mobile App, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and extensibility across millions of transactions globally.

Spearhead 3D Secure Integration: Drive the integration of 3D Secure (3DS) authentication infrastructure—a cutting-edge standard developed by Visa and MasterCard—into core card authentication processes to enhance payment security and transaction reliability across diverse real-time scenarios.

Own Full-Cycle Product Development: Take complete ownership of product development from requirements definition through deployment, collaborating with product stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and developer-friendly payment solutions.

Establish Security and Compliance Standards: Integrate best practices for protecting sensitive customer data, ensuring global regulatory compliance, and maintaining industry-leading security standards for financial transactions and user information.

Code Quality and Architecture Leadership: Promote robust, maintainable code with high test coverage, establish and maintain automation pipelines for CI/CD, and collaborate with architects to refactor code and design patterns for optimal performance and reusability.

Cross-Platform Collaboration: Work closely with Android and backend engineering colleagues to ensure seamless API integration, consistent user experience, and shared architectural principles across iOS and Android platforms.

Contribute to Engineering Excellence: Actively participate in Airwallex's engineering community growth initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and contribute technical insights to shape the evolving product roadmap as the business scales rapidly.

Native iOS Development (5+ years)Extensive professional experience developing production-grade native iOS applications using SwiftUI and modern iOS frameworks, with deep understanding of iOS SDK capabilities and platform constraints.
