Summary

Airwallex is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer for their Onboarding team in Singapore, focusing on building scalable, high-performance web applications using modern frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will develop micro frontend applications, integrate complex financial systems, and contribute to the company's mission of empowering global businesses with innovative financial solutions.

What you'll do

Frontend Development: Develop high-quality web applications using React and TypeScript, implementing micro frontend architecture with domain-based design

GraphQL Integration: Leverage Apollo GraphQL to build scalable backend-for-frontend (BFF) services with efficient backend integration

Design System Development: Collaborate with design team to build and maintain a comprehensive design system and reusable UI components

Infrastructure and Deployment: Deploy micro frontend and Node.js services using GCP, Aliyun K8S, and implement GitLab CI/CD best practices

Testing and Quality Assurance: Design and implement comprehensive unit and end-to-end tests using React Testing Library and Cypress, maintaining 80%+ test coverage

Frontend TechnologiesProficient in HTML5, CSS3, ECMAScript 6+, TypeScript, React, and modern frontend frameworks

Backend TechnologiesExperience with Node.js, Backend for Frontend (BFF) architecture, and GraphQL

Cloud and DevOpsFamiliarity with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, CDN deployment, and CI/CD pipelines

Education

Academic RequirementBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical field

Experience

Industry Experience3+ years of frontend development experience, with specific experience in large-scale financial web systems
