The role

Summary

Airwallex is seeking a Staff Mobile Engineer to lead the technical direction of their mobile platform across iOS and Android. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for evolving mobile architecture, improving platform capabilities, and driving cross-team technical initiatives for the Mobile Foundations team.

What you'll do

Mobile Architecture: Lead design and evolution of shared architecture for native mobile apps, including navigation, state management, and networking

Platform Capabilities: Own and maintain shared libraries, frameworks, and core platform components

Security & Performance: Drive mobile application security, define performance metrics, and improve overall mobile quality

Developer Experience: Improve CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and create documentation

Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship, conduct design reviews, and guide mobile engineering standards
