What you'll do

Edge Infrastructure Architecture: Architect and build software foundations that power Airwallex's global edge infrastructure

API Gateway Development: Design and implement next-generation gateway features including plugin-driven routing and smart cache policies

Security Implementation: Build libraries and pipelines for rate-limits, WAF/filter rules, and bot-detection embedded into edge stack

Self-Service Tooling: Create CLI/plugins and lightweight frameworks enabling other teams to register APIs and enforce policies

Performance Optimization: Analyze metrics, identify latency gaps, and deliver code-level optimizations for fast, flawless requests

Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with product, platform, and security teams to translate requirements into maintainable code

End-to-End Feature Ownership: Own complete features from design through deployment for millions of daily requests
