Summary

AKASA is seeking a Software Engineer for its Data Platform team, focusing on developing data pipelines, supporting machine learning initiatives, and building infrastructure to enable analytics and product development in the healthcare AI domain. The role requires strong Python and cloud computing skills, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge generative AI solutions for healthcare revenue cycle management.

What you'll do

Data Pipeline Development: Build and maintain data pipelines to support machine learning model training and scalable customer deployments
Infrastructure Development: Develop and maintain core Data Platform infrastructure and tooling to support Analytics and Data Science teams
Product Development: Contribute to product development by maintaining in-app dashboarding infrastructure
Technology Exploration: Explore and evaluate new technologies to enhance the team's technical capabilities

Technical

Programming LanguagesProficiency in Python and SQL with strong software development fundamentals
Cloud ComputingExperience with AWS cloud services, including SQS and CloudWatch
Data InfrastructureUnderstanding of data pipeline architecture and data warehousing concepts

Education

Computer Science DegreeBS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Experience

Software Engineering Experience3+ years of software engineering or data engineering experience
