Summary

Alan is seeking a T-shaped Fullstack Software Engineer specializing in growth and frontend development to drive user acquisition and optimize digital experiences across their health insurance platform. The ideal candidate will blend technical expertise with a product-driven mindset to create seamless, high-converting web experiences that support Alan's mission of transforming healthcare access.

What you'll do

Self-Serve Flow Development: Design and implement conversion-optimized user journeys from initial discovery through final signup, focusing on creating seamless and intuitive experiences.
Website Optimization: Build and continuously improve alan.com, ensuring high-performance, scalable web platforms that effectively convert visitors across multiple markets.
Marketing Infrastructure: Develop robust systems to support acquisition channels, including paid, SEO, and emerging technologies like LLMs, enabling scalable marketing campaigns.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Research, Product Engineering, Data, and Design teams to drive holistic product and growth initiatives.

Web Application DevelopmentProven experience in building and shipping high-quality web applications with a focus on user experience and performance
Frontend TechnologiesStrong skills in modern frontend development, preferably with React and related ecosystem technologies
Full Stack CapabilitiesAbility to work across the full technology stack, understanding both frontend and backend integration

Education

Technical DegreeBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Experience

Professional ExperienceMinimum 6 years of software engineering experience with clear career progression and increasing scope of responsibilities
Growth EngineeringDemonstrated understanding of conversion funnels, marketing metrics, and growth-driven product development
