The role

Summary

Alan is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to design and own their critical core billing platform, responsible for processing complex, multi-country transactions with high reliability and scalability across insurance services.

What you'll do

Billing Engine Development: Build and maintain core billing engine processing thousands of daily transactions with high precision
System Design: Design modular, reusable billing primitives and abstractions that scale across multiple products and regions
Payment Integration: Integrate with various payment gateways, partner APIs, and internal systems
Workflow Automation: Automate billing schedules and workflows across multiple countries
System Reliability: Ensure system reliability, accuracy, and operational excellence

What we look for

Technical

Backend SkillsStrong backend and full-stack development experience
OOP LanguagesProficiency in OOP languages like Python, Java, or C#
Complex Business LogicAbility to navigate and implement complex business logic

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred

Experience

Software EngineeringProven experience in designing scalable, resilient platform systems
Billing SystemsPrior experience with financial or billing system development is a plus
