Summary

Codat is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive AI-powered innovation in financial data intelligence. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader who can develop sophisticated data science solutions, mentor team members, and contribute to strategic product development in the commercial banking technology space.

What you'll do

Technical Leadership: Drive technical excellence by mentoring team members, sharing expertise, and guiding best practices in data science and product development
AI-Driven Innovation: Identify and prototype AI/ML opportunities to enhance core products, delivering novel value to clients and streamlining engineering operations
Domain Problem Solving: Develop deep understanding of client financial data to contribute to product strategy and architect innovative solutions
MLOps and Model Management: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of production models, including deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
Strategic Communication: Articulate complex data science concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, shaping product strategy through data-driven narratives

Data PlatformsAdvanced expertise in SQL and big data platforms like Databricks

Education

Academic BackgroundDegree in STEM subject required

Experience

Machine Learning ExpertiseExtensive experience across ML techniques including classic ML, deep learning, and cutting-edge AI
MLOps ExperienceProven track record in managing full model lifecycle, including deployment and monitoring
