Summary

Confluent is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join their Platform Team in India, focusing on developing and enhancing their data streaming platform. The role involves building scalable, secure, and innovative solutions for private cloud and open-source environments, with a critical mission of expanding Confluent's data-in-motion capabilities across diverse infrastructure setups.

What you'll do

Platform Development: Evolve and advance the Confluent Platform through technical design and implementation

Infrastructure Provisioning: Design and build technologies for cluster provisioning, upgrades, scaling, and multi-region deployments

Customer Support: Improve system debuggability and create self-serve issue resolution mechanisms

Open Source Engagement: Champion open-source community building initiatives and knowledge sharing

Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers to enhance team capabilities
