Summary

Mapbox is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for its HD Maps team, focusing on geospatial big-data analytics and high-precision mapping technologies. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced machine learning techniques to develop innovative feature extraction pipelines and contribute to cutting-edge location intelligence solutions across automotive and GIS domains.

What you'll do

ML Project Ownership: Take full ownership of machine learning projects across the company, driving innovation and technical excellence

Feature Extraction: Design and implement advanced feature extraction pipelines using both open-source and proprietary data sources

Metrics Management: Collect, monitor, and analyze technical and business metrics to drive strategic decision-making

Security Implementation: Lead deliberations and implementation of security best practices in machine learning infrastructure

Machine Learning Expertise5+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Data Science domains

Programming ProficiencyStrong programming skills in Python and ability to work with other programming languages
