Summary

Mapbox is seeking an experienced Full-stack Software Development Engineer II to join their Data Tooling team, focusing on building and enhancing mapping tools that process millions of data updates and user feedback. The ideal candidate will drive technical innovation in data processing services, with a strong emphasis on full-stack development and AI integration.

What you'll do

Tool Development: Design, develop, and test Mapbox data processing and mapping tools
Service Enhancement: Implement improvements in frontend and backend services based on business requirements and user feedback
Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor operational metrics to ensure service performance
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed services
Collaboration: Work closely with in-house editors to understand and improve workflow processes
