The role

Summary

Poshmark is seeking a QA Engineer I to ensure the reliability and quality of their mobile, web, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive manual testing, develop test scenarios, and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to maintain and improve product quality across Poshmark's social commerce platform.

What you'll do

Manual Testing: Conduct comprehensive manual QA testing across iOS, Android mobile applications, web applications, and cloud platform services
Test Case Development: Develop detailed test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements, user stories, and design documents
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, perform root cause analysis, and assign defects to appropriate development teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and continuous improvement of test coverage
Regression Testing: Participate in regression testing cycles and maintain test quality across product releases

What we look for

Technical

Testing Experience1+ years of software testing experience in mobile platforms (iOS and Android), web applications, and cloud-based systems
Tools ProficiencyExperience with bug tracking and project management tools, preferably JIRA

Education

DegreeBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Testing DomainsProven experience in end-to-end, functional, and performance testing methodologies

Skills

Required skills

Mobile TestingProficiency in testing iOS and Android mobile applications
Analytical SkillsStrong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
CommunicationExcellent verbal and written communication abilities
