The role

Summary

Poshmark is seeking a QA Engineer II to drive quality assurance across mobile, web, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will independently manage testing efforts, develop comprehensive test strategies, and contribute to process improvements for a leading social commerce platform.

What you'll do

Quality & Testing Execution: Conduct comprehensive manual QA testing across iOS, Android, web applications, and cloud platform services, including end-to-end, functional, integration, and regression testing
Test Planning & Strategy: Develop and maintain large-scale test plans, translate business requirements into detailed test strategies, and identify potential testing risks and mitigation approaches
Automation Support: Leverage existing automation frameworks, partner with automation engineers, and identify high-value test cases suitable for automated testing
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, perform root cause analysis, and ensure comprehensive bug tracking and resolution
Process Improvement: Contribute to refining QA methodologies, release processes, and testing standards while collaborating cross-functionally

What we look for

Technical

Testing SkillsProficiency in manual testing, test case development, and understanding of QA processes and SDLC
Automation KnowledgeWorking knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools
Bug TrackingExperience using bug tracking tools, preferably JIRA

Education

Relevant DegreeBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

QA Experience3+ years of software QA experience in mobile (iOS & Android), web, and/or backend systems
