Summary

Poshmark is seeking a talented Senior Android Software Engineer in Chennai to architect, develop, and enhance their mobile application. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver who can independently drive feature development, collaborate across teams, and create intuitive mobile experiences for Poshmark's 165 million members.

What you'll do

Android App Architecture: Design and implement scalable, maintainable Android mobile application architecture
Feature Development: Independently own and deliver features with high visibility and impact
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, product, and engineering teams to create seamless user experiences
Code Quality: Write high-quality, unit-testable code following best practices and design patterns
Technical Leadership: Provide technical insights, participate in code reviews, and mentor fellow developers

Technical

Mobile DevelopmentStrong foundation in mobile systems programming, data structures, and algorithms
Android DevelopmentProven experience in developing Android applications with focus on user interface and performance

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Android Development4+ years of professional software engineering experience with Android app development
Production ExperienceDemonstrated experience in developing and publishing apps on Google Play Store
