Summary

Poshmark is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) II in Chennai to develop and maintain robust automation solutions across web, mobile, and API platforms. The ideal candidate will contribute to high-quality testing practices, improve test coverage, and support continuous testing initiatives with strong programming and problem-solving skills.

What you'll do

Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile (iOS & Android), and API platforms using advanced testing tools and frameworks.
Framework Enhancement: Contribute to existing automation frameworks, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and alignment with coding and testing standards.
Quality Assurance: Partner with engineering and product teams to identify quality risks, integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, and support shift-left testing approaches.
Defect Management: Execute automated and manual test cases, identify and track defects with comprehensive reproduction steps and root cause analysis.
Continuous Improvement: Develop quality metrics, build dashboards, and continuously improve test scripts, tools, and processes for enhanced efficiency and coverage.

Technical

Programming LanguagesProficiency in Python or Java with 3+ years of hands-on programming experience
Automation ToolsExperience with Selenium, Appium, WebDriver, and CI/CD systems
Testing TypesExpertise in GUI, API, and integration testing across web and mobile platforms

Education

DegreeBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Test Automation3-5 years of software testing experience with strong focus on test automation
Tools ExperienceHands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Unix commands, and Jenkins
