The role

Summary

Poshmark is seeking a Software Engineer for their Cloud Platform team to support the company's rapid growth in social commerce. The ideal candidate will build and optimize distributed cloud infrastructure, develop scalable product features, and contribute to a high-traffic e-commerce marketplace that connects 165 million members.

What you'll do

Cloud Platform Development: Build and operate applications on distributed cloud architecture using NoSQL and queueing technologies
Product Feature Implementation: Design and develop new marketplace features using iterative, data-driven approaches
Performance Optimization: Analyze, tune, and enhance core platform components supporting millions of e-commerce transactions
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with product and customer support teams to drive business growth and improve user experience

What we look for

Technical

Cloud ComputingExperience with Amazon AWS or equivalent cloud platforms
Programming LanguagesProficiency in Ruby, Java, JavaScript, and web technologies

Education

Computer Science DegreeBachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related technical discipline

Experience

Software EngineeringMinimum 1+ years of relevant software engineering experience through projects or internships
