Summary

Poshmark is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their Cloud Operations Team in Redwood City, California. The ideal candidate will be a product-focused software engineer who can contribute to feature development, deployment, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, innovative fashion marketplace environment.

What you'll do

Feature Delivery: Contribute to the development, rollout, and deployment of new product features with a focus on scalability and user impact.
Full-Cycle Development: Collaborate closely with development and product teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from initial design to production support.
Agile Methodology: Operate effectively in a dynamic environment that emphasizes rapid iteration and continuous improvement.
Systems Operability: Design and implement features with a strong emphasis on monitoring, supportability, and long-term system reliability.

Technical

Web OperationsExperience with large-scale web operations and UNIX-based environments
Scripting and Problem SolvingProficiency in scripting, coding, and utilizing open-source technologies to resolve complex technical challenges
DevOps ToolsFamiliarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins and configuration management tools like Ansible

Education

Computer Science or Related FieldBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Experience

Software Engineering Experience0-4 years of experience in a Software Engineering role, preferably in a fast-growing startup environment
