The role

Summary

Join Pylon as a Software Engineer Intern and contribute to building the future of B2B post-sales support. You'll develop AI-powered features for a platform used by 1500+ companies including Linear and Cognition, working alongside senior engineers from Airbnb, Samsara, and Meta. This is an opportunity to own features end-to-end, ship fast, and gain hands-on experience with modern full-stack technologies in a collaborative, high-growth startup environment.

What you'll do

Feature Development for Post-Sales Operations: Design and build features that empower customers in post-sales roles including Customer Support and Customer Success teams to run their operations more efficiently by leveraging AI and conversational data intelligence.
Rapid Prototyping and Iteration: Build prototypes independently, iterate quickly on solutions, and ship features to production with minimal supervision. Demonstrate ability to move fast while maintaining code quality and product standards.
End-to-End Feature Ownership: Own features from conception through deployment, taking full responsibility for project management, technical implementation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful product work.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with Product Managers, UX Designers, and other engineers in a collaborative, agile environment. Participate in non-waterfall development processes and contribute to team architectural decisions.
Full-Stack Development: Contribute across the entire technology stack including frontend (React), backend (Golang), API layer (GraphQL), and cloud infrastructure (AWS) to deliver complete product solutions.
Learning and Professional Growth: Engage with a strong technical team including senior engineers from top-tier companies. Actively seek feedback, embrace a growth mindset, and continuously improve technical capabilities throughout the internship.
