Join Pylon as a Software Engineer in our New Grad program and help build the future of B2B post-sales support. You'll work on an all-in-one platform powered by conversational data and AI intelligence, serving over 1500 companies including Linear and Cognition. This full-time role in San Francisco offers end-to-end ownership, rapid iteration cycles, and mentorship from senior engineers from companies like Samsara, Affinity, Airbnb, and Meta.

Interview process
- 1Application Review — Pylon reviews your resume, portfolio, and any side projects to assess your experience with full-stack development and culture fit for a fast-paced startup environment.
- 2Phone Screening — Initial conversation with a recruiter or engineer to discuss your background, motivation for joining Pylon, and alignment with the new grad program expectations.
- 3Technical Coding Interview — Live coding session typically lasting 45-60 minutes. Expect data structure and algorithm questions, frontend component design, or full-stack problem-solving scenarios aligned with company tech stack.
- 4System Design Discussion — Conversation about how you would architect a feature or system. Emphasis on your thinking process, trade-offs, and ability to handle ambiguous technical problems.
- 5Behavioral and Culture Interview — Discussion with an engineer or manager about your work style, collaboration approach, growth mindset, and enthusiasm for learning. Focus on startup adaptability and willingness to receive feedback.
- 6Offer and Negotiation — Upon successful completion of interviews, Pylon extends an offer including base salary, stock options, and benefits package. Compensation discussions are transparent and negotiable.
