What you'll do

End-to-End Mobile Application Development: Lead the complete mobile development lifecycle from architectural planning through production deployment, including feature design, implementation, and optimization for both iOS and Android platforms
API and SDK Integration: Design and implement robust integrations with external healthcare APIs, payment processing systems, and third-party SDKs while ensuring data security and compliance with HIPAA standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and designers to translate complex healthcare requirements into intuitive, performant mobile experiences that drive patient engagement and retention
Mobile Architecture and Scalability: Design scalable, maintainable mobile application architecture that supports rapid feature development, handles growing user loads, and maintains best-in-class performance benchmarks
Code Quality and Testing Standards: Establish and champion comprehensive testing practices, automated CI/CD pipelines specific to mobile development, and code review standards that ensure production reliability
Technical Mentorship: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on React Native best practices, mobile architecture patterns, performance optimization techniques, and serve as a force multiplier for the engineering team's capabilities
Technical Direction and Decision-Making: Set technical strategy for mobile platform evolution, evaluate emerging technologies and dependencies, and make architectural decisions that balance innovation with pragmatic execution
Performance Optimization: Optimize mobile application performance including bundle size reduction, memory management, rendering efficiency, and battery consumption to deliver superior user experiences
