The role

Summary

Wealthsimple is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their Consolidation team, focusing on building intuitive client-facing experiences and scalable back-end systems that help users consolidate their financial assets. The ideal candidate will drive product-led growth initiatives, collaborate across functions, and contribute to innovative financial technology solutions.

What you'll do

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with design, product, and data teams to create intuitive user experiences for client asset consolidation
Back-End System Development: Drive architectural vision and implementation of large-scale back-end systems supporting consolidation initiatives
Product Feature Development: Build and iterate features through rapid prototyping and experimentation, maintaining tight feedback loops
Platform Maintenance: Help maintain and improve the most visited surfaces in Wealthsimple's mobile and web applications
Personalization Systems: Contribute to developing intelligent personalization and recommendation systems for client journeys

What we look for

Technical

Back-End SystemsExpertise in designing and implementing large-scale back-end architectures
Technology StackStrong experience with Ruby on Rails, React/React Native, TypeScript preferred

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred
