The role

Summary

Wealthsimple is seeking a Senior Software Developer specializing in ML Ops to build and enhance their machine learning platform. The ideal candidate will develop scalable ML infrastructure, work autonomously to set technical direction, and support data scientists in creating innovative financial technology solutions.

What you'll do

ML Platform Development: Partner with stakeholders to build framework-agnostic services supporting Wealthsimple's machine learning ecosystem
Platform Architecture: Establish roadmap and technical architecture for the Machine Learning platform
System Design: Build highly performant and scalable systems on Kubernetes, Bedrock, and Sagemaker
Technical Leadership: Set autonomous technical direction for scalable ML infrastructure projects

What we look for

Technical

ML InfrastructureExtensive experience in ML infrastructure, tooling, and engineering
ProgrammingProficiency in Python for production environments
System DesignAbility to design highly performant, scalable systems with strong observability

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Software DevelopmentMinimum 7 years of software development experience in ML-related domains
