Summary

Xero is seeking an Engineering Manager in Vancouver to lead high-performing software teams, driving product delivery and technical excellence. The role focuses on championing AI-native workflows, improving system architecture, and elevating developer experience while maintaining a strong balance between technical innovation and business outcomes.

What you'll do

Team Leadership: Lead high-performing engineering teams, providing strategic direction and technical guidance

AI Engineering Transformation: Champion AI integration across the entire software development lifecycle to drive efficiency and innovation

Technical Architecture: Drive high engineering throughput through strong architectural design and code quality improvements

Developer Experience: Identify and remove technical complexity, improving system health and team productivity

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Design teams to align on shared goals and resolve dependencies
