Summary

Pylon is seeking a dedicated Software Engineer for AI Infrastructure in San Francisco, focusing on building advanced AI-powered platforms for B2B post-sales support. The ideal candidate will develop and optimize AI features, improve observability, and contribute to scaling cutting-edge AI technologies in a high-growth startup environment.

What you'll do

AI Infrastructure Development: Build and enhance platforms powering Pylon's AI features, including prompt execution and search infrastructure
AI Observability: Develop and implement AI evaluation systems, including online and offline scoring mechanisms to improve AI performance
Performance Optimization: Continuously improve the quality and performance of AI features to support next-wave scaling

What we look for

Technical

Programming LanguagesStrong proficiency in React, Golang, and GraphQL
Cloud TechnologiesExperience with AWS cloud infrastructure
AI and Machine LearningUnderstanding of AI infrastructure, LLM observability, and evaluation techniques

Education

Computer Science or Related FieldBachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline

Experience

AI InfrastructureProven experience in building and scaling AI-related infrastructure
Technical AutonomyDemonstrated ability to work independently, manage projects, and take full ownership of technical deliverables
