Summary

Pylon is seeking a Team Lead Software Engineer to bridge the gap between individual contributor and management roles. This unique position offers a supportive pathway to leadership, allowing senior engineers to develop management skills while maintaining deep technical involvement in a rapidly growing B2B post-sales support platform backed by top-tier investors.

What you'll do

Senior Individual Contributor: Own and ship significant features across the company's technology stack, demonstrating strong technical expertise and delivery capabilities
Team Mentorship: Mentor 2-4 engineers, supporting their professional and technical growth through targeted guidance and support
Team Leadership: Gradually assume team coordination, sprint planning, and project management responsibilities while maintaining technical contributions
Engineering Culture Development: Contribute to scaling the engineering team's culture and collaborative practices as the organization expands
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with founding team to develop engineering leadership skills and drive product development

Education

DegreeBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred
