The role

Summary

Ramp is seeking an iOS Software Engineer Intern for their 12-16 week Summer 2026 program to help build and scale their financial operations mobile platform. The intern will work on designing, building, and launching new iOS features while collaborating with cross-functional teams in their fast-paced fintech environment. Candidates need proficiency in SwiftUI and Swift, experience shipping mobile apps, and strong understanding of iOS development patterns.

What you'll do

iOS App Development: Design, build, and launch new products and features on Ramp's iOS application
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Product and Design teams to plan and identify key features for app success
Backend Integration: Collaborate with other engineers to build necessary services supporting the mobile app
Technical Architecture: Have significant impact on technical design decisions and engineering culture
Product Delivery: Ship products and services working in cross-functional team environments
Process Development: Establish and influence engineering processes, tools, and systems for team and codebase scaling

SwiftUI ProficiencyStrong proficiency in SwiftUI for iOS interface development
Swift ProgrammingSolid understanding and experience with Swift programming language
iOS Platform KnowledgeKnowledge of iOS UI components and the iOS Developer Platform
Mobile App ExperienceExperience contributing to at least one mobile app that reached large user base
Quality Shipping RecordTrack record of shipping high-quality products, features, or portfolio of side projects

Education

Computer Science DegreeCurrently pursuing B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related technical field

    Technical Phone Interview — 60-minute technical interview covering iOS development concepts, Swift, and SwiftUI

    Technical Take-Home — Small iOS project or coding challenge to demonstrate technical skills
  5. 5
    Virtual Onsite — 3-4 hour virtual interview including technical deep-dive, system design discussion, and team fit assessment
  6. 6
    Final Interview — Meeting with senior engineering leadership to discuss impact, culture fit, and career goals
