What you'll do

System Architecture Development: Collaborate on designing reliable, maintainable, and scalable systems to support millions of users worldwide, ensuring robust backend infrastructure for wellness applications.
Cloud Service Integration: Leverage AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, and S3 to build modern, serverless solutions that enhance application performance and scalability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, data experts, and content teams to develop cohesive, user-centric experiences for wellness platforms.
Code Quality and Improvement: Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code with a focus on continuous improvement and long-term system reliability.
Product Initiative Development: Spearhead the development of new user-centric initiatives that revolutionize Welltech's wellness products and user experiences.

What we look for

Technical

Python ProgrammingAdvanced Python development skills with expertise in building scalable backend systems
Cloud InfrastructureProficiency with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and CloudFormation
Database ManagementExperience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools such as SQLAlchemy

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Backend Development3-5 years of professional experience in backend engineering with a focus on Python and cloud-native architectures
