Summary

Airwallex is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Corporate IT team in Singapore, focusing on building innovative IT systems, ERP integrations, and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will drive technological improvements across internal systems, working on complex integrations and emerging AI projects with a goal of enhancing operational efficiency.

What you'll do

Internal Systems Development: Build and enhance internal IT systems, focusing on procurement and ERP functions with complex integrations across Airwallex's product ecosystem

AI Project Innovation: Develop AI systems, agents, and platforms within the IT engineering incubator to solve real business challenges

Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with product and internal teams to design and implement technology solutions that dramatically improve operational efficiency

Integration Architecture: Design and implement integrations between ERP systems, Airwallex product, and the Airwallex Platform

What we look for

Technical

Programming SkillsStrong JVM-based programming skills, with preference for Kotlin

Systems DesignExperience in complex integration environments and API design best practices

Cloud InfrastructureStrong understanding of cloud development practices and container environments

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Engineering Experience5+ years in modern engineering practices with focus on continuous integration/delivery and quality engineering

Skills

Continuous IntegrationExpertise in CI/CD practices and quality engineering

System ProtocolsProficiency with HTTP, TCP/IP, and REST specifications

Build ToolsMastery of Gradle, Maven, or equivalent build tools
