Airwallex is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its DevX team in San Francisco, focusing on enhancing developer experience and building world-class developer tools and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will drive innovation in API development, developer portals, and technical ecosystems with a passion for creating high-impact, user-centric solutions.

What you'll do

Developer Experience Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and streamline developer experience for Airwallex customers, ensuring high-quality API standards and conventions.

Analytics Pipeline Development: Create advanced user and data analytics pipelines to track and improve user engagement, leveraging insights to enhance developer content and tools.

Developer Portal Enhancement: Build a world-class developer portal and documentation system with AI-powered features, developing SDKs and prebuilt code across multiple programming languages.

Open Source Community Development: Develop and maintain open-source SDKs on GitHub, fostering a robust developer community and promoting Airwallex's technological ecosystem.

Technology Stack Evolution: Continuously incorporate latest technologies and uplevel the tech stack, ensuring cutting-edge solutions for developer tools and services.

Technical

Programming LanguagesProficiency in Typescript, Java, Kotlin, and Python with 5+ years of professional experience

Cloud InfrastructureExtensive experience with GCP or AWS (EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudFront), Docker, and Kubernetes

System Architecture5+ years experience in high-volume distributed systems design and management

API Development5+ years of professional experience in designing, releasing, and maintaining APIs

Education
