Summary

A Senior Software Engineer role within Airwallex's Corporate IT team, focusing on developing innovative IT solutions, integrating internal systems, and exploring AI-driven technologies to enhance operational efficiency across procurement, ERP, and platform integration domains.

What you'll do

Product and Internal Systems Integration: Build features for procurement and ERP functions, creating integrations between Airwallex product, internal IT systems, and external platforms

AI Project Development: Contribute to the IT engineering incubator by developing AI systems, agents, and platforms to solve real business problems

Cross-Team Collaboration: Work across product and internal teams to design and implement high-impact technological solutions

System Design and Architecture: Design complex integration environments and develop robust, scalable IT infrastructure

Technical

Programming SkillsStrong computer science fundamentals with JVM-based programming, preferably Kotlin

Cloud and InfrastructureProficiency in cloud infrastructure, container environments (Docker, Kubernetes), and development platforms

Integration ExpertiseExperience with systems design, API design, and complex integration environments

Education

Computer Science or Related FieldBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline

Experience

Engineering Experience5+ years in modern engineering practices with focus on continuous integration/delivery and quality engineering
