Ashby is seeking a Design Engineer in Portugal who can seamlessly blend design and engineering skills, working on a talent acquisition platform that serves over 100,000 weekly active users. The ideal candidate will create innovative solutions by combining visual design expertise with robust technical implementation, contributing to the company's cutting-edge recruiting software.

What you'll do

Design System Development: Enhance and expand the company's in-house design system, creating flexible and composable components
Product Implementation: Design and implement new features across mobile and web platforms, focusing on user experience and technical excellence
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product engineers to improve design quality, information hierarchy, and overall user interface
User-Centric Design: Conduct customer research, create wireframes, and iterate on designs based on user feedback
Technical Innovation: Develop creative solutions that balance design aesthetics with technical feasibility
